Looking for some ideas to be a good friend and pleasant to his guest on his birthday. I will be the designated driver so I will not be able to drink. I noticed in the passed when I was sobber and others were drunk how they would insist that I have one drink but I can't aford to lose my drivers licence. Furthur more I have quit drinking all together a month ago including smokig so I wonder how this may affect my social life. Any sugestions as to how not to come accross rood by turning down liquor and smokes? Any help would be welcome. Thank You and have a nice day !Any advice on how to have a good time this Fridays minus the boos as I will be DD?
make the most of your situation. drink soda at the bar and laugh and dance and have a good time. no one will pressure you to drink if you mke it evident that you're having fun even without drinking...if you sit there looking dull and bored, then people will try to ';cheer you up'; by telling you one drink won't hurt.
a couple added bonuses of being DD that can add to your enjoyment of the evening: ask everyone to chip in for gas money...once on the way to the bar when they're all sober and then hit em up again on the way home as you pull into a gas station - they'll forget they already gve you some money, haha! AND designate yourself as the official picture-taker...a fun way to get involved in the fun and you can get some great pics of your buddies!Any advice on how to have a good time this Fridays minus the boos as I will be DD?
Laugh at the drunks , and always remember you're the DD
