Hi,
I live about an hour from Kaiserslautern. You weren't really specific. What kind of advice do you want? Whether or not you should move there or more along the lines of what to expect?
Sorry to be lazy but it is late here and I don't want to type the same things over again. ;o) If you look on my profile at my answers I just answered a question similar to yours. I will add this though. If you are military they are in the process of building a mall on base and they have a Chili's. Most people from Spang(military) go to Kaiserslautern to shop. The villages around where I live are pretty small. We live around farms and Vineyards(which are beautiful I might add). ';K'; town as the previous poster said we call it, ;o) is a lot bigger and to some people it has more to offer. It just depends on what you like. I personally love living in the country in a smaller town. I hope this and my other answer helps. If it is not what you were wanting then be a little more specific and I will try again. lol. Take care and good luck.I might be moving to Germany for a job, and I might be living in Kaiserslautern. Any advice?
Army? Air Force? So American call Kaiserslautern K.town.. it's funny. There is nice, near the American Airport Ramstein, the big huge Hospital Landstuhl. Many Americans living there, it's a big community. I think is nicer than where I'm at right now.
Check the web: Garrison Kaiserslautern and look at the google map for further information's.
Army spouse from Germany....
