I have just joined the gym and was wondering if anybody has any advice as to what workout I should be doing?

depends on what u want.... muscle mass? tone? strength? For Tone you want higher reps and sets... like 5 sets of 12 or something along the lines with a mediocre weight... Mass the best from what ive experienced and researched with some guys who are roids where i lift is you start out with heavy... a set of 4 then you go down to more reps... like a reverse Pyramid work out. .... and for strength... go heavy... 5x5 workout is the best imo... with heavy weight... ummmm if you are looking for just to get in ';general'; shape.... you could do a full body workout once or twice a week.... if you wanna get more mass do a split program, 3 or 5 day depending on your dedication... if you just wanna get tone... id still go with full body bc it involves less trips to a gym but u still gotta push urself on ur sets.I have just joined the gym and was wondering if anybody has any advice as to what workout I should be doing?
